Before you order
Ortho, tere or iso — which do I need?
Orthophthalic is the general-purpose choice. Terephthalic gives higher mechanical properties. Isophthalic gives high chemical resistance. Tell us your part and process and we will match the grade.
Which processes are your polyester resins made for?
Pultrusion and moldtrusion, hand lay-up, filament winding, RTM and vacuum infusion, plus SMC/DMC/BMC. Each chemistry has dedicated grades per process.
Do you make fire-retardant polyester resins?
Yes — halogenated grades to UL 94 V0/V1 and IS 6746, and non-halogenated grades to EN 45545-2 R1 HL2/HL3 and ASTM E84 for railways, marine and mass transportation.
Do you offer lower-emission resins?
Yes. CREST has introduced styrene-free, low-VOC, bio-based and recycled products for lower environmental impact.
What information do you need for a quotation?
The product or application, estimated quantity, destination country/port and preferred Incoterm (FOB or CIF). For corrosion service, add the chemical, its concentration and the operating temperature so we can recommend the right grade.
Can Crest provide TDS and SDS before I order?
Yes. Use “Request TDS / SDS” on this page and we email the documents for the grade you are evaluating. Specifications are revised from time to time, so always work from the current TDS.
